The best of medical research, for the good of patients

Now accredited as a Thematic Research & Healthcare Centre
The dynamism and the quality of the work performed for many years now by physicians and researchers in the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France (notably in the field of chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)) have been acknowledged by the French government with the creation of a Thematic Research & Healthcare Centre.
This accreditation as a centre of excellence adds further value to the 14 research and care units, which perform high-quality, structured, applied research on a single site - from the lab to the patient's bedside.

A future not-for-profit Research Foundation
DigestScience is the logical outcome of this research accreditation. The foundation will attract private funding for major private/public collaborative R&D programmes by pooling skills in the field of digestive tract disease and nutrition. DigestScience is deeply committed to using innovation to improve patient care and quality of life.
