Great success with 1,300 registered and 10,500 for research

It is a highly original sporting event:  a  triathlon, held in the countryside, which consists of a running event, a mountain bike race  and a final race in a pond.

Two types of races are being proposed:

- the long course: a 7 km footrace, followed by a 50 km mountain bike race   and then a 100 m “dash”  through a pond

- the shorter course: a  3.5 km footrace, followed by  a 25 km mountain bike race and  a 100 m  run through a pond

This may be done either in the form of a relay race (2 persons) or individually.

Hikes in which families may participate:  

- 4 km

- 10 km

A   supervised  warm-up exercise session, with music, has been offered prior to each race.

Cedric Vasseur, who is sponsoring the events, has been there  to support the  participants and research, and has been taking part in the long race!

Via the TESTATHLON, everybody can be mobilized:  health care workers, patients, public officials, business partners, etc.

As a true vehicle for encouraging values such as the taste for challenge, courage and team spirit, TESTATHLON is open to everyone:  families, the young, the elderly, those who enjoy practicing sports and those who do not.

Each year, lively activities are scheduled to be held on the premises.  These may include the presence of professional emcees, music groups and deejays,  as well as  a  lottery; in addition,   a T-shirt bearing the logo will be given to all those who have the courage to sign up!!!

Rules of the event

All financial profits from the Testathlon will go toward research on digestive diseases.
