Southern Europe in the spotlight

Dr. Julian Panes is chief of Department Gastroenterology at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, and assistant professor of Medicine of the University of Barcelona. His research group is focused on the identification of new molecular targets for treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, the development of cell therapies, and the implementation of new diagnostic tools, with special interest in cross-sectional imaging.
