 Antoine Cortot, Vice President of the DigestScience Foundation, will be retiring. 

A gastroenterologist, university professor, head of the Department Gastroenterology at the University Hospital of Lille  and Vice-President of the DigestScience Foundation,  also served as Director of the first French epidemic registry consecrated to inflammatory bowel diseases (the EPIMAD).

He is a man who has greatly contributed to medical research  while at the same time carrying out his daily responsibilities toward his patients.  His competence in the field is unanimously recognized by specialists who often call upon him for advice.  His retirement signals a new professional start, since the research delegation at the university teaching hospital of Lille has asked him to act as a consultant for resarch at the  hospital.  He will also continue to serve on our  Board of Directors.
