Foundation news

The 5th edition will take place on Saturday, 16 October 2010 in Armentières!

This sports and family, slightly off standard event, settles in the regional landscape and knows a growing success!

In 2009: 1150 Participants, 12 partner companies (with inter-company challenge won by Roquette: close to 180 registered), 4 institutional partners, 3 associations of patients (with informative booths on site), 80 volunteers, almost 1000 meals served, 2 physicians, 10 rescuers from white cross, 8 musicians, 10 articles in the press (Voix du Nord, Nord Eclair, La Gazette..)...

and 10.000 € for research, i.e. all of the entries!

The objectives of the Testathlon reach far beyond the boundaries of sport....

- better awareness and recognizing of digestive tract diseases that are given little (or no) media coverage which are even so the first cause of public or private admissions in hospitals in France

- raise funds for research

- encourage the patients to overstep their fear, renew social links, do, or redo sport regardless of their level,

- symbolically gather on the same starting line, the  care and life network: young, less young, athletes, less fond of sports, patients, healthy persons ..
